Courses Regularly Taught: introduction to ethics, business ethics, social and political philosophy, and contemporary ethics.  

Research Interests: ethics, moral psychology, history of ethics, Aristotle and Kant 
 
 
Current Research Interests: To further develop my understanding and account of
1. the role of pleasure in Kant's and Aristotle's ethical theories (especially Kant's conception of pleasure in the moral good and Aristotle's account of the relations between process, activity, and pleasure)
2. the dangers and virtues of utopian thinking in political philosophy
3. how pleasure, freedom, and need are interwoven in our conception of virtue
